Tragedy, Misery and Agony

I thought my life is really bad;
Things are not i wanted it to be;
Living in the memory of the past;
Feeling useless and helpless.

Till i come across the Haitian;
To loose everything they had;
Death of their love one; Loosing their home;
Even loosing their own life, all in lapse of seconds.

I thought my life is really sad;
Always feeling moody, and not energetic;
Suffering from the memory and present life;
Why others can live better? Why others deserve more?

Till i come across the parents of Chung Ling Boys;
Crying and living in agony for their son;
What meant to be an avoidable accident;
Turns out to be a miserable tragedy.

Don't they deserve at least a chance to live?
Why the people they leave behind must endure such suffering?
The people of Haiti will always remember this tragedy.
The family of the boys will never forget this accident.

What if the tragedy had struck on us?
What if the tragedy had struck on our loves one?
Cherish oneself and our loves one.
