That Day That Moment

  1. Perhaps it is one of the few very important decision that i make in my life. In this very chapter of my life is called Moving On~.
  2. Moving On~ What's next? What about my career ? What about my personal life? What about the future and life quality that i wish for all this while?
  3. One fine Saturday, it was 27th of April 2013. I gathered myself, and went to INTI International College Penang to sign up for MBA. Perhaps it will be a turning point; a stepping stone for me.
  4. I wish that by doing MBA, i will have much more input in my life. To gather more knowledge while harvesting from the experience of others MBA students. Other that making new friends, my perspective and thinking might be more overall, holistic. All in all, i wish to have some positive changes and input in my life now.
  5. Secondly, i wish MBA will be my stepping stone for future if i opt for changing career; changing career is not only means that changing from one company to another, but to change a total new field, field which i can not venture with the quality and experience that i have now.
  6. Sometime i do wonder about my ability to handle both work and studies at the same time; but i guess if this is a huge mountain to climb, that i have to really climb it to get to the nice scenery over the other side.
  7. I did share my decision with my family and a few friends which i thought was important for me as i am considering this as one of the important kind of decision in my life. For those who had encouraged me; i really thank them and be grateful for it.
  8. Well, that's about it; and i will be venturing into a new journey now. I wish that this journey will be a full-filling one; one that i am glad that i had taken it.

Juggling - Juggling ; Balancing - Balancing

  1. Things are getting more serious now, work load piling up; issues, questions, inquiries, requirements are coming from all corners and there's no hiding.
  2. Despite the hectic schedule, i still have that time to think about further studying in part-time mode. This is indeed quite surprising, even for myself. Guess this is really a wake up call i gave myself to buckle up; and i really wish to get this done.
  3. There are many new models this year as i am busy tendering earlier this year,  and currently it is the trial period before the products can go for mass-production. For next week itself, we have four models having their respective trial. I think that this is the first time throughout my three years here; that we are facing such circumstances.
  4. Anyhow, we have to be ready and take this challenge up; if not, SONY will be hesitating to award us more project in the future. As usual, the blame game, and kicking football kind of working philosophy still playing in the factory especially by the manager himself. Nevertheless i try my best to handle whatever situation that i could, and try to remain professional.
  5. I felt that it was a real shame for our manager to be in such level with no accountability. The responsibility and duty for him to carry out his job, but not pushing to others and avoiding.
  6. Something important to note here is that, i find that perhaps i am facing with a mental disorder now. One moment i can be very angry with someone while discussing issue with them, and then seconds later, when customer calls, i can smile and throw some lame jokes to them, after that, resume with my work without any emotion, resume the work i am doing before i have the argument with my colleagues. I notice this kept on happening, as i have no time to indulge in the moment, like continuing to be angry with something, or been in a moment for too long; i need to move on to next thing, and next thing and next thing.
  7. As for my MBA, the course will commenced in early May for Inti and end May for Segi. Overall i felt that Inti is giving me the better experience, the thing is the MBA is offered by INTI itself, with only twin recognition of MA in Management Studies by University of HertfordShire. Well SEGI's MBA is by University of Sunderland. Of course the latter will be more recognizable. The thing is after 2 visits to SEGI, the experience is not that great in terms of environment mostly.
  8. INTI's MBA is new but it gave me an impression that the course are more energetic, with more exposure. Perhaps, i will choose INTI over SEGI despite the recognition issue.
  9. I am not too sure will MBA be too tough to handle in part time mode, but my conscience are clear, that i want to do it. Hopefully i will be enlighten, enjoy and felt fruitful throughout this MBA journey.

5th of May; The Judgement Day

  1. Finally it was announced by the SPR; the 13th General Election will be on 5th of May 2013. Ever since 2008 March 8th, political parties had been busy politicking; throwing blames; trying hard to vow the voters by all means.
  2. Post 2008; the people of Malaysia had already started to be more aware of politics; be it for good or bad; the youngsters either pro-actively register as voters or been encourage, to some certain extend, been force by their parents to register as voters. Everyone with a very noble hope; with the vote in their hands, to vote for a better tomorrow.
  3. Myself; i wish for a more prosperous Malaysia; where the people will have quality standard of living through improve and expanded economic growth which par with good social advancement. I have to highlight the social advancement as the dilemma with fellow Malaysians are, we tends to be too focus on the material aspect and forego the social aspect. We work our ass-off and forget about family time, to care for others and the environment. We forgot to have self-reflection, to continuously improve our inner self in aspects like our will, thinking, EQ, ability to judge and justify, ability to analyse and been conscience, be critical yet objective.
  4. I am glad that the people are more politic friendly now, people used to hate talking or discussing about politics, that politics does not really matter with their life. These kinds of thoughts had already been placed nicely in the history book. People now are very proactive and likes to talk about politic. Sharing their two cents, their perspective, their way that things should be done.
  5. Sadly, as i notice, most of the opposition supporters, they have lost their way in the middle of the way.  Some of them went that extra miles, to go too personal when commenting or placing judgement on other people and matter. They forgot that, everyone has an equal rights, to choose and to do whatever they want as long as it is albeit by the law. They had failed to accept the difference by others, throwing ugly words and curses to the other party.
  6. Many cases which we can observed especially on social media; people giving negative remark and very personal comment on the party that dis-agree with their opinion or action. They had lost their sense, the basic mutual-respect and the morale value which they uphold. They had lost their credibility, and integrity. The reason is because of the ease and shield provided by social medial. We need not face another party directly, we can throw nasty comment by few clicks away, nor we need to be responsible with our remark as we can remain anonymous to others.
  7. We must be just, practical, objective and kept our sensitivity to others whenever we give our opinion. Our morale value, integrity and sense of responsibility must be in tag with us all the time. As much as possible, we must give our commitment to maintain and preserve the harmony our complex social circle.
  8. My hope for this coming election is for a better Malaysia. Personally i felt that BN government still has what it takes to lead our nation for another five years. The opposition still need to work harder to form a stronger alliance to topper BN government.
  9. The Malaysian Chinese will be the ultimate looser at the end if MCA lost badly ( which might be a good thing for MCA) but BN manage to form the government. Good for MCA as all those opportunistic people and outdated leader will leave or retire from the party and provide new blood a chance to lead. Bad for Chinese since it is not well represented in the government.
  10. An inevitable result, as most of the Chinese wanted a change, for a more balance, accountable, just and clean government. The logic is to give opposition a chance of ruling. By all means, this is a very clear and direct way to help Malaysia. The question is are we ready? Owing to the complexity of our social build up, we are not on our own. We have Malays, Indians, Kadazan, Ibans, and other minorities. We should not run political party based on different ethics but we have no choice as this is how it runs now. The time for a change will only come if all Malaysian moves towards a common target.
  11. The concept of 1 Malaysia is to bring all Malaysian under one roof, which is a very noble and great concept. The implication is clear. Logic will tell you that is another bull-shit, but we have to keep this dream alive in every Malaysian, for we are all looking for a more prosperous, harmony and greater Malaysia. So for this time around, my choice is clear, Give 1 Malaysia another chance.
