Here come the Wave of Change

Story 1

The wind of change in Klang Valley.
The launching of LRT service to the place i had grew up.
So much of memories, thoughts, and feeling grateful for all of this.
Life no longer the same with this new connectivity.
With new development, new things arises and some others faded off.
Just like the cycle of life and death.
Hopefully this vibrant town shall continue to shine;
 with the spirit of Malaysians; warm, modesty, and great humility.

Story 2

This is not the first time this thoughts came across my mind.
Not until i left KL that i realized the beauty of Petronas Twin Tower.
This coincides with the words "We don't know what we have until it's gone"
Some rethinking on our relationship with ourselves, our family and friends.
What are the little important things or people we have take for granted all this while.
Appreciation, gratitude, and be appreciative ~

Story 3

  I had visited the Popular Book Fest 2016 twice in two days.
Surprise to meet a lot of "friends" during my visit.
By friends i meant all the books or authors that i had came across over this few years.
Reading is already my favorite past time now.
It is so natural and so intuitive, seamlessly sync with my life now.
Why do we (have to) Read?
Other than the extra knowledge, perspective, know-how and personal development;
I opined that this activity is a good training,
to counter the fast-pace and high pressure lifestyle in this millennial.
To be able to sit still and concentrate on one task,
managing and reducing the environmental noise and other distraction.
With the rise of Facebook/WeChat/Whatsapp/Twitter/Instagram/Snapchat/ and many more;
Deliberately or not, we are mostly consumed by such social tools,
We thought we had control on such tools as we are the user,
thinking it again, "they' are actually controlling us.
We are loosing our discretionary time without realizing it.
To be able to concentrate one task at a time deliberately has already become a luxury.

And One more thing ... ...

I had met this street artist just outside of KLCC station;
His singing is in-tune and so is his command of English.
He sings his heart out and won some good stares from fellow shy Malaysians.
When is the last time we had give our very best, our very 100% to what we do, to our life ?
He seems to be in his late fifties and i salute him for his courage and passion.
What will i be in my fifties?
Living a passionate life or just spending my life away.
LIFE
live it like there is no yesterday;
live it like there is no tomorrow;
live it here and now~
