- As i had decided the title for this week post; UBAH; it reminds me of another "BERSIH" call exactly 1 year ago. I still recalled vividly when everyone went to the "BERSIH" rally; I had to stuck with cleaning my new house before i could moved in last may.
- This time around, it had been 2 weeks since our GE13 had over. There's still many calls around the country for more rally to show their dissatisfaction, and urge for a cleaner and more transparency election in Malaysia.
- I guess many was upset at the matter of fact that UBAH didn't materialized as hoped. Many quarters are saying that there's many fraud by BN, and BN blaming for Chinese Tsunami for not been able to claim the 2/3 majority. Whatever said and done, the people had spoken and it is down to the government and opposition to read and interpret it.
- We hope for a more transparency government, less corruption, more efficient and answer to the needs of the people. A government which can further improve the living qualities of all Malaysians especially the hardcore poor.
- UBAH itself can be applicable to the very phase of my life now. Spinning the thoughts of further studying MBA for few years; act of searching, comparing and analyzing MBA courses offered by variety institute; some soul-searching of why i need MBA and what i am looking forward with that qualification; and finally here i am, officially a MBA student.
- Yesterday, 18/5/13 (SAT) was the orientation and the very first class of Business Ethics. Seniors and juniors came together in the class and it was really happening in the class with 40 strong people. The philosophy of morale and ethics really tested my English proficiency level. Simple sentences took me at least 2-3 times reading repeatedly to understand. At times i could not picture what the lecturer or my friend had said as they've been speaking too fast.
- Recalled my good old days in Form 6 and University days. Everyone was actually very concern on the subject. Buying reference book, speaking up in class, noting down important points; as most of the students had a very clear aim coming into MBA.
- Today is the second day attending classes titled Business Accounting and Finance. The lecturer was good in guiding us to have an aerial view and concept of the whole module. Although the classes drag from 9am in the morning till 5pm. With short breaks and lunch break in between, we are still doing alright. Afterall we are all working adult and we should be able to have more control over oneself.
- What i can foreseen is, there's still a very steep uphill climb. My aim is not to pass the exam only. I wish to gain the knowledge, broaden my horizon and perspective and experience new things in life; In order to do that, i really need to do a lot of homework. This is the first time in my life that, i thought that reading lecture notes before attending classes, revision again after the class and before the next class is of utmost importance. Never in Form 6 or University days that i thought that revision should be done from Day1.
- Guess that is really an UBAH for me this time on. Thank you for the support from my family and my friends. Really need these supports as this battle or this war will be a long hard fight.
